Marros was born in the slums of Brimstone to a single mother, from an early age he worked in hard labor on a wage that was to little to cover food. He did this all to help his emotionally broken mother with the family finances. Not much longer later Marros’ mother became deathly ill, this lead him to turning to a guild of assassins at the age of 12 in hopes of keeping her alive. At the age of 16 Marros was caught and sent to prison with a life sentence.
Two years latter Marros was bailed out of prison by a dwarven priest of Drasilla the Crone, from here he devoted his life to becoming a holy knight of Drasilla in order to destroy the guild who turned its back on him when he was caught.
Her family gave her up to a wizard when she was young since hey couldn’t afford to feed her. The wizard raised her as his child and taught her the arts of herbology, alchemy, and magic. During one of their yearly trips from the small town they resided in to the larger town north of it, he died. The cold took him, and she decided to push on and not let the cold take her. After another year of travels, she has come to where she is now. One of her closest possessions is her spell book, a gift to her from her wizard on her twelfth birthday. She has a bright but shy outlook on the world.
She fled her abusive parents, hiding on board the first ship she could hoping it would take her away. Eventually she was discovered by pirates when they attacked the ship. They took her on board their own vessel, The Golden Dragon. Over the course of two years she worked her way from their cabin girl and cleaner to the position of first mate. She has been serving on board ship for three years as of her time of arrival at Fortune. Her captain fell deeply ill and she went ashore to search for a physician to tend to him. When she returned she found her captain dead, slaughtered by the crew who had decided to hold a mutiny. She fled the vessel distraught at the death of her captain, her friend. She began to wonder aimlessly through the world, looking for somewhere new to live and fight for.
